Ingredients for a 24 cm springform pan
- 200g dark chocolate
- 150 g butter
- 150 g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 200 g flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 pinch of salt
- 100 ml milk

Melt chocolate and butter
- Roughly chop the chocolate and melt it with the butter over a water bath. Let it cool slightly.

Prepare the dough
- Beat the eggs and sugar in a food processor until frothy.
- Stir in the melted chocolate-butter mixture.
- Mix together flour, baking powder, and salt, then add to the batter alternately with the milk. Stir everything until you have a smooth batter.

Bake
- Pour the batter into a greased springform pan.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 175 °C (top/bottom heat) for approximately 45 minutes.
- Perform a stick test, remove and let cool.

Serve
- Sprinkle with powdered sugar or coat with chocolate glaze, if desired.
